Season 2023-2024

This season is complete. We have finished harvesting and were very happy with the quality and yield of our fruit. Autumn has been quite mild which meant no frost fighting (yay) and we have been able to watch the gorgeous autumn leaf colours develop across the vineyard. You can see from the photo that we had every colour from green through to dark red. This is something that I have not seen in the 10 years that we have been here as the frosts usually start sooner and we frost fight to keep the canopy green. When we stop frost fighting the leaves go brown overnight and fall off, so I am grateful to have been able to watch the vine leaves naturally senesce.
